Leaders: Jim Newman & John Bailey

We normally meet as two separate groups, (Beginners and Intermediates), Each section meets fortnightly, (i.e. Beginners one week and Intermediates the next), on a Tuesday afternoon in term time at Cranbourne School, Hoddesdon.

3.45pm to 5pm.

The aim of the Beginners Group is to teach basic computing skills and is therefore targetted at those with little or no previous computing experience.

The Intermediate Group aims at those with some previous experience of computers who would like to learn more or to brush-up their knowledge. One of the principle subjects dealt with is the use of digital photographic software.

All you really need to join us is a willingness to learn and a sense of humour.

Teaching is hands-on, (mainly following on-screen instructions), and emphasis is placed on such skills as effective handling of the keyboard and 'mouse'.

Subjects regularly included are:-

  • Accessing the Internet
  • Word Processing
  • Spread Sheets
  • Basic Handling of Digital Photographs

Please contact either Jim Newman or John Bailey for more information.
